The Gates of Olympus Super Scatter is an online slots game developed by Pragmatic Play, one of the leading software providers in the iGaming industry. Released in 2021, this high-stakes slot has gained popularity among players due to its visually stunning design and engaging gameplay mechanics.
Theme, Setting, and Visual Design
The Gates Gates of Olympus Super Scatter of Olympus Super Scatter is set amidst a majestic Greek mythology-inspired backdrop. The game’s visuals are characterized by vibrant colors, intricate details, and large-scale artwork that immerses players in the world of ancient gods and mythical creatures. Upon launching the game, players will notice two striking symbols: Zeus and Poseidon, which appear at the top center and bottom left corners of the playing field.
The reels themselves feature a unique grid layout consisting of 6 rows by 5 columns, resulting in an impressive total of 312 winning combinations (more on this below). Each reel symbol is intricately designed to represent various aspects of Greek mythology. Players will encounter symbols such as Wildfire, Lightning Bolt, and Phoenix among many others.
Symbol Rarities and Payouts
While there isn’t any specific information available about the payout multiplier for each symbol, it’s safe to assume that high-paying symbols would offer multipliers significantly greater than 1x.
Symbol Name Description Wildfire A large flaming logo that represents strength and power. Lightning Bolt An electrifying lightning bolt associated with Zeus’ divine authority.
These and other symbols are carefully crafted to fit within the theme, creating an immersive experience for players.
Reels, Paylines, or Grid Mechanics
The Gates of Olympus Super Scatter employs a 6×5 grid layout that houses multiple paylines in each row. There is no fixed number of active paylines; instead, each spin can activate up to six hundred winning combinations, thanks to the super scatter feature mentioned above (more on this below).
Each combination payout for these activated win lines will be multiplied by a randomly assigned multiplier ranging from 1x to x1000.
Max Win Potential
The maximum possible jackpot is listed as x20,000. Although this may not seem extraordinary compared to other games in the same genre, it’s worth noting that Pragmatic Play has optimized their RTP for medium to high-risk players who prefer fewer but bigger wins over frequent smaller payouts.
Core Gameplay Mechanics and Flow
Gameplay on Gates of Olympus Super Scatter is both engaging and unpredictable due to its advanced math model. The base game revolves around the idea of combining low-paying and mid-tier symbols with various wilds to unlock sizeable prize multipliers. Winning streaks will occasionally be interrupted by a randomly selected multiplier that may award anything from 2x to x500 in one go.
Bonus Features and Special Icons
Several special features come into play during gameplay, adding complexity and depth to the slot experience:
- Wild Symbols : There is only one Wild symbol available, which appears on reels 2-5 in any given spin.
